Nefertari, the bride of Ramses II, assisted her husband in the temporal ruling of Egypt. During her incredible life, she witnessed the great expansion of her country and enjoyed the worship of her devoted husband. Upon her death, Ramses built Nefertari a stunning sepulcher that remains almost intact to the present day. This deck recreates the atmosphere and symbology so loved by Nefertari—who is considered the Light of Egypt and a symbol of the most beautiful aspects of this elegant and sophisticated civilization. The typical two-dimensional Egyptian artwork is given incredible life and luminosity by the rich, patterned gold foil background. Drawing upon the fascination and mystery of Egyptian culture, Alasia has created a beautiful deck that is also practical for divinatory purposes.
Light of Egypt, enigmatic Queen whose beauty has been handed down through the millennia: the splendid Nefertari. Through her timeless eyes this precious Tarot introduces the mysteries of the Nile Valley. Printed with gold foil impressions, it is the richest Egyptian Tarot deck ever created. Pietro Alligo e Silvana Alasia, art by Silvana Alasia, 78 cards, 66x120mm, Instructions. Multilingual edition.
Tarot is a centuries-old system of divination that combines symbolism and intuition to offer insights into the past, present, and future. Tarot readings are done through a 78-card deck and are usually performed by a skilled practitioner (although one doesn’t have to be a professional to give a tarot reading!).
Tarot readers draw and then interpret cards in response to a seeker's questions or concerns. Each card in the deck carries its own unique symbolism and meaning; for example, The Fool can mean innocence and new beginnings while The Magician can represent desire.
While some view tarot as a mystical or supernatural tool, others see it as a reflection of the reader’s subconscious and the seeker's own thoughts and emotions.
